The Chinese city of Wenzhou is currently hosting the “The 28th China (Wenzhou) Int’l Leather, Shoe Material & Shoe Machinery Fair”, one of the largest global platforms for the leather and footwear industry.

At this prestigious event, the Association “Uzcharmsanoat” (Uzbekistan Leather and Footwear Industry Association) and more than 40 local companies are presenting their products. Among them are leather manufacturers, footwear design and tailoring workshops, as well as exporting companies that supply finished goods to international markets.

Uzbek enterprises are holding bilateral negotiations with international buyers and partners, reaching concrete agreements on increasing export volumes, attracting new technologies, and implementing joint projects.

During the fair, the Uzbek delegation presented large-scale cooperation projects aimed at developing the leather and footwear sector. Special emphasis was placed on favorable conditions for investors, tax and customs incentives, and the infrastructure advantages of industrial zones.

The Wenzhou fair serves as a key platform for Uzbekistan’s leather industry. This event opens new opportunities for domestic producers and exporters, strengthening the country’s position in the global trade arena.
