As part of the Uzbekistan–Turkey business forum held in Tashkent, representatives of the Uzcharmsanoat Association, Halk Bank, and leading leather and footwear enterprises met with two major Turkish brands — Guardi and Tergan — for high-level business talks.
In the meeting with Aydin Aksu, General Manager of Guardi, discussions focused on the export of Uzbek leather raw materials, the establishment of joint ventures, local production under Turkish branding, and collaboration in design and marketing.
Mustafa Tergan, founder of the Tergan brand, expressed interest in building production lines in Uzbekistan, highlighting the country's advantages in leather quality, industrial conditions, and export logistics.
The talks resulted in preliminary agreements on mutual business visits, sample testing, and the launch of joint commercial projects. This cooperation marks a new chapter in leather industry ties between Uzbekistan and Turkey.
