As part of its business mission to Pakistan, representatives of the O‘zcharmsanoat Association held a series of productive meetings in the city of Lahore.

During the visit, the delegation conducted negotiations with the management of “Dada Enterprises Limited”, one of Pakistan’s leading leather and footwear manufacturers. Established in 1965, the company currently exports its leather products to more than 60 countries worldwide. The company's annual turnover in leather processing and footwear production amounts to 50 million USD. It holds international certifications including LWG Gold Rated, BSCI, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.

During the meeting, a presentation was delivered on the reforms in Uzbekistan’s leather and footwear industry, tax and customs incentives available for entrepreneurs, and investment and export opportunities. Following the negotiations, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed.

The delegation also held talks with the management of the Pakistan Tanners Association, a key player in Pakistan’s leather industry, which holds a significant position in the country’s export volumes.

At the meeting, information was presented to the heads of major Lahore companies about the reforms in Uzbekistan, tax and customs incentives, and the investment climate. Pakistani business representatives were invited to organize a business trip to Uzbekistan.

The negotiations held during the visit are expected to strengthen cooperation between the two countries and promote the development of investment and trade relations.
