The Chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat Association, Akbar Sultanov, held talks with renowned Bangladeshi business expert and Best Sourcing’s Founder and CEO, Mehdi Mahbub.

The meeting focused on exploring cooperation prospects between the two countries’ industrial sectors. During the discussions, agreements were reached in the following key areas:

🔹 Establishing bilateral industrial cooperation:

The parties discussed practical collaboration between Uzbek and Bangladeshi companies in the fields of finished leather, footwear, accessories, and raw materials.

🔹 Attracting investment:

Prospective projects will be developed to attract Bangladeshi investors to Uzbekistan’s leather industry. Uzbekistan’s industrial infrastructure, special economic zones, export potential, and investor-friendly conditions were presented.

🔹 Developing a strategic roadmap:

The sides agreed to work out a concrete action plan aimed at building long-term and structured cooperation.

At the conclusion of the talks, both parties expressed commitment to deepening industrial ties, enhancing workforce development, advancing investment projects, and actively promoting Uzbekistan’s leather industry on the international stage.
