The Uzbekistan–Georgia Business Forum and Business Council meeting took place in Tashkent as part of the official visit by the Georgian delegation led by Giorgi Pertaya, President of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event was attended by officials, leading companies, and nearly 100 Georgian entrepreneurs.
During the forum, representatives of the "Uzcharmsanoat" Association held a meeting with the Georgian company “Dressup Group.”
This company specializes in the production of premium-class footwear and expressed strong interest in sourcing natural leather from Uzbekistan.
During the negotiations, “Dressup Group” representatives announced their intention to import Uzbek leather, develop new products based on it, and expand their export reach.
The two sides also agreed to organize business missions between Tbilisi and Tashkent, explore the operations of local manufacturers, and establish industrial cooperation.
