The Deputy Chairman of the "Uzcharmsanoat" Association, M. Zahidov, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Uzbekistan, Batbaatar Daadankhuu. During the negotiations, the parties discussed establishing cooperation in the field of sheep wool processing and attracting investments into this sector.

Mongolia is one of the leading countries in the production and processing of sheep wool. During the meeting, the sides discussed the implementation of investment projects in this field, the exchange of technologies, and the development of production processes.
As a result of the negotiations, it was decided to create a special working group consisting of Uzbek entrepreneurs engaged in the production of leather, footwear, and wool products. As part of a business mission, the delegation will visit Mongolia to study the current state of the industry. During the visit, Uzbek entrepreneurs are expected to hold negotiations with Mongolian companies and reach agreements on mutually beneficial cooperation.
