An expanded meeting of the "Uzcharmsanoat" Association management was held, attended by representatives of the central office, regional departments, and the design center.

First, the results of the work carried out in 2024 to develop the leather industry were discussed. During the analysis of the past year's activities, shortcomings in execution discipline and international cooperation were criticized. It was also noted that there were delays in achieving export targets.

For 2025, the primary objective is to increase the number of exporting enterprises to achieve an export target of $250 million. Specific measures were identified to establish a systematic collaboration with exporters and explore opportunities to enter new international markets. To support this, a strategy will be developed to assist enterprises and direct them toward new markets.

Additionally, to enhance collaboration with international partners and foreign investors, new mechanisms and operational systems will be introduced. A roadmap has been developed, outlining specific action plans and strategies to achieve the set goals. 

The successful implementation of these tasks is crucial for the further growth of the leather industry in 2025, leveraging new opportunities for development.
