The "Uzcharmsanoat" Association has initiated preliminary negotiations with two major Turkish brands, "Jeune Pierre" and "Gelibolu Taban" to establish cooperative relations. Discussions focused on implementing joint investment projects and organizing collaboration with Uzbek enterprises on an outsourcing basis.
The "Jeune Pierre" brand specializes in producing men's and sports footwear, primarily supplying its products to European and Arab countries. The company is planning to relocate its production to Uzbekistan. Specifically, it aims to implement a new project to expand the production of upper parts of sports footwear. To this end, negotiations with local enterprises in Uzbekistan are set to begin in April.
The "Gelibolu Taban" brand is also working on a new project to manufacture components for complex footwear models in Uzbekistan. These types of footwear are mainly exported to Europe and Russia. Initial talks have commenced regarding potential collaboration and partnership with capable local enterprises.
